Federation funds the following through its Caring Outcomes:

 

  • Services for the developmentally disabled
  • Emergency assistance
  • Frail and elderly adult services
  • Wellness programs
  • Adult daycare
  • Caregivers support services
  • Individual and family counseling
  • Vocational training and placement
  • Support groups (i.e. illness, loss, infertility)
  • Refugee resettlement and support
  • Naturally Occurring Retirement Communities (NORC) programs and services
  • And, many more!

Our Local Caring Beneficiaries


Caring for those in need means providing services that improve the health and well-being of the most vulnerable members of the community and help individuals regain their financial independence.
 

  • Caregiver Atlanta - In addition to JF&CS, other caregiver partners with Caregiver CARE Atlanta include
    • Lifespan Resources - Enables independent living as long as possible and provides opportunities for retired persons to use their knowledge, skills and experience through life-enriching programs and other services.
    • One Good Deed - Provides assistance to seniors and other persons with physical or long-term health needs so that they are able to maintain their independence, remain in their homes longer, and avoid costly institutional care.
  • Jewish Family & Career Services - Provides comprehensive programs and services that strengthen the Jewish family in all of its contemporary forms and lifestyles, and also provides programs and services to meet community needs, recognizing its membership in and interdependence with the broader Atlanta community as a nonsectarian agency.
  • Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta - Provides educational, cultural, camping, sports, and fitness programs for people of all ages with targeted programs for people with developmental disabilities and elderly.
  • NORC - Enables older adults of all faiths, races and nationalities to continue living at home, safely and with true quality of life, for as long as possible and prevent premature institutionalization.
  • William Breman Jewish Home - Serves elderly through a spectrum of living opportunities including independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing for those individuals who require 24-hour care and supervision. Also operate a rehabilitation facility and manage the Meyer Balser Naturally Occurring Retirement Community.
