On Wednesday, July 23rd, 2000 Atlantans gathered on the grounds of the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta to show their support for the People and the State of Israel. Attendees came from all over greater Atlanta. Committed to being heard, the crowd included Jews and non-Jews, young and old. We gathered as one group of Americans to show our solidarity with Israel. Our voices were broadcast through the TV, radio and internet. We were heard throughout the city, in Israel and throughout the world. We succeeded in letting our brothers and sisters in Israel know, with confidence, that we stand with them. We are proud to be a part of the Greater Atlanta Jewish community and we honor all those organizations that sponsored this event and stood strong with us.
