Local Jewish Continuity Beneficiaries


Jewish Continuity is about ensuring the Jewish future. Federation ensures Jewish continuity by supporting partners whose initiatives connect people with our community (Jewish Communal Engagement), teach our children about their heritage (Jewish Education), and create tomorrow’s Jewish leaders (Jewish Leadership Development).


Birthright Israel - Sends young Jewish adults to Israel at no cost to the participants in partnership with other national funders.

The William Breman Jewish Heritage Museum - Explores, through exhibitions and programs, the universal themes of respect for difference, responsible citizenship, human dignity, and community building through the lens of Jewish experience.

Center for Israel Education – Develops curricula about modern Israel and engages educators in learning workshops on teaching Israel and the Middle East to pre-collegiate, college, and adult learners.

The Davis Academy – Provides Reform Jewish day school education for children in kindergarten through grade eight.

Day School Council - Provides professional development for the heads of school and lay leadership of Atlanta Jewish day schools.

Education Directors Council - Provides professional development for the teachers at Atlanta area supplmentary schools.

The Epstein School, Solomon Schecter School of Atlanta - Provides Conservation Jewish Day School education for children in preschool through grade eight.

Greenfield Hebrew Academy - Provides general studies and Judaic curricula for infants through grade eight.

Hillels of Georgia - Enhances Jewish life on Georgia’s college campuses.

Israel Experience Scholarship Fund - Provides needs-based financial support for teen travel to Israel, and awards for teens in honor of their B’nai Mitzvah.

Jewish Early Childhood Council of Atlanta - Provides professional development for the heads of school and teachers at Atlanta area Jewish pre-schools.

Jewish Family & Career Services – Provides comprehensive programs and services that strengthen the Jewish family in all of its contemporary forms and lifestyles, and also provides programs and services to meet community needs, recognizing its membership in and interdependence with the broader Atlanta community as a nonsectarian agency.

Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta - Provides educational, cultural, camping, sports, and fitness programs for people of all ages.

PJ Library - Distributes free, age-appropriate Jewish-content books and music on a monthly basis to families with children through age 8, and was brought to Atlanta by the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta.

Temima, The Richard and Jean Katz High School for Girls - Provides Orthodox girls with an education towards higher education or any other path of their choice.

Torah Day School of Atlanta - Provides an Orthodox education offering intensive Jewish and general studies curricula for children in kindergarten through grade eight.

Weber School - Provides education for Jewish youth that focuses on classical liberal arts in grades nine through 12.

Yeshiva Atlanta High School - Provides a Modern Orthodox preparatory high school experience offering general and Judaic studies for children in grades nine through 12.
