Russian Art & More

2 pm to 5 pm at Congregation Or Hadash

The term "Russian Art" triggers thoughts and memories of a world gone by. The Jewish community was once deeply rooted in countries that are now part of the Former Soviet Union. Despite the fact that so few Jews remain, the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta still takes care of Jews in need -- and helps promote Jewish renewal -- in places like Minsk, Belarus (our sister-city) and in other parts of the world. We do it with the help of fabulous partners, including the Jewish Agency for Israel (JAFI), the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC), World ORT, and the World Union for Progressive Judaism (WUPJ). You are invited to join us; come snack on Russian delights, meet our featured Artists, and see and purchase inspiring work. In addition, you will be able to learn more about Federation's and its partners' important work overseas. This event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Meredith Lefkoff at mlefkoff@jfga.org.
